We love to think that ours is the biggest story on the block . . .

This is not so. I am humbled by the awesome businesses I come into contact with from all over Africa.

Business owners who are transforming our continent with their brilliant ideas, their skills, their intuition and their courage. David and Goliath stories of businesses that tackle issues like cancer, energy conservation and recycling with a flair that is uniquely African.

A big word of thanks to the organizers of the Sanlam Entrepreneur of the year competition and the Africa SMME conference which allowed me the privilege to rub shoulders with such admirable men and women, leaders in their own respective industries.
