Jamie Odgers – Drive and Ambition to become great!

Every major business book I have read, drive and ambition is a key character trait from childhood amongst those who become great.

The people who are driven and incredibly ambitious stand out even from a young age, that drive and ambition should be cultivated in their youth. The reason Steve Jobs (Apple) became great was he was already eccentric from a young age, so was Jeff Bezos (created Amazon). Someone like Jamie, from the first time I met him he made such an incredible impression in terms of just how driven he was, stood out amongst his peer group-literally head and shoulders, he just had a different aura about him and he carried himself differently. And I wonder if greatness and that energy as well as that presence that someone exudes from such a young age, isn’t one of those key pointers towards someone who is going to do great things.

Jamie Odgers did an internship with LIVEOUTLOUD when he completed matric, and then set off to America on a rowing scholarship. He has achieved exceptional results as part of the 4V eight Boston University Men’s Rowing crew and is definitely going to be a sporting name to remember. He was in JHB for five days and chose to come do an internship for three days at VAULTLife.com as he feels he learns a great deal within these environments.

His aim is to achieve greatness, not only in rowing, but also in the business world.
